(How unfortunate for me, yes.) I fell in love with basketball and football only partially because they weren’t baseball. My home was near a pop warner league (Skyline Park 92114) but the units were not letting your dude ball it up down there. Couldn’t get hurt, had to be ready for baseball season, y’know. So when I get to high school I’m chomping at the proverbial bit to get my tackle football on; American stylee. Anyhoos, I end up playing middle linebacker mostly because I was (read:am) frustrated and liked to hit people. Paradoxically, I was also really good at doing what I was told then. Naturally being from SD Junior Seau was a huge influence/teacher. He was kinda from SD (Oceanside), balled it up at USC and played for the home team. You know, American fairy tale shit. So there was my measuring stick for life when I was a teenager. I may have even borrowed some of his moves in hs. Though I never played football at ‘SC as a student there I remember several walks around campus where I would think to myself: Junior walked down this same sidewalk. (and Marcus)

Anyway. Crazy shit. Everything that guy accomplished and he still went out like that. At his beachfront crib of all places. Not very courageous or faithful, dude. Fight on, I guess….

I felt satieted and satisfied by the end of the program. I even got my vinyl signed.

They sound like the records. She looks so different depending on how she wears her hair but always amazing. And her voice…

It’s been a while since we’ve come across a place worthy of mention here. This is one of a select few we wanted to keep to ourselves. But Jimmy wanted to read the review so off we went. Upon arrival it immediately became apparent that their menu is crazy.

After perusing for a good while, I ordered. I went with the shitake mushroom burrito. I got it home and after wondering what the hell it was I was eating (and subsequently figuring it out) the deliciousness that is Litickers revealed itself. The tempeh was flavorful to the point where my lady friend and I wondered if the order had been mixed up. It was not. And neither is their philosophy on salsa. It’s almost worth the trip just for the selection of half a dozen sauces.

Look, This is San Diego. You’re going to end up at the beach at some point so you might as well check it out. You may be disappointed when you show up and walk into a liquor store. Don’t be.
